Bohol the 2nd time around

Unlike most people I know who prefer Boracay's beach party culture, I prefer a more quiet solace away from the noise and crowd of the city. Hence, I find Bohol a better prospect for a beach getaway.

Last June, I had the chance to visit this thriving beach destination along with my colleagues. We stayed at the posh Amorita Resort.

That was my second time in Bohol, the first was in 2004, with Ariel.



The beach is still as inviting as I remembered. Only, I didn't have time to really enjoy it. We came just two days ahead of Typhoon Frank and it has been raining most of our stay. We were fortunate to fly back to Manila just before Visayas felt the full rage of Frank, leaving a trail of devastation in Iloilo and Kalibo.

Anyway, I would really like to come back soon. This time, Ariel's joining me. And we're getting a pool villa.

Bohol Take 2

I'm leaving Wednesday morning for Bohol and hubby is not coming with me. Boo hoo. I'm attending the KO Marketing Team Building at this lovely resort. Most of my colleagues are extending thier stay for a few more days but I'm flying back to Manila Friday afternoon. My family and I will drive up north to cool Baguio City for some R&R. Will be back Tuesday afternoon.

My camera will be very busy!
